Its finally workin.. an experiment called MUNNAR

It all can happen in India only!!! Before I start, let me give an introduction to what is happening in this side of the world.
In entire Kerala, there has been so much shortage of place to live that people have occupied what ever they can lay their hands on, be it military area, government plots, reserved forest, swamp, grasslands, be it anything in the world, Keralites have found you can make money out of everything. This is why the land provided to the poor by the Government for making a living through farming have been captured by the rich to make money-making machines. The belief stays, if it doesnot provide me money, it is not fit to stay for long!
So the reserve forests in Munnar, where the endangered Nilgiri Tahr clings to this world, have been encroached upon from all four sides. No, cant say from all four sides, as the side facing Tamil Nadu, since it is a huge cliff to that side, something of the height of a 20 storied building, no encroachment have been naturally possible.
On the other side, huge trees were felled in one night to give space for starred resorts. Each and every major real estate companies shared the profit! No one backed out, and the story was a wide-known secret.
The story continued till one man took up the seat to run the machinery in Kerala. One of the man, who like the Nilgiri Tahr, clinging to the few clean remnants in politics, put forward an idea to clear all these encroachments and free all these places. A standing applause for the man and his guts to put up this idea, but no one thought he would do anything more than words as he is a man-of-words.
But finally the governmental machine worked and it literally termed any legal action taken in the history as a “slow” one. Clear measuring was done on land and paper and the encroachments were identified. Three of the most politically-repented but morally right bureaucrats were gathered and made into a team. This included one police commissioner, one district collector and one IAS officer, who was to head the special team for the purpose.
And it happened! It was a sight to see huge five storied buildings being pulled down using machines. The process continues and many major names have been affected.
Could really be termed, “One small step by a man, a huge leap for entire Kerala”!
But as always there were protestors against this just move as well. People crib saying they were not given time to work something out against evacuation. Funny part is, they made the mistake and enjoy the fruits born till now, and now they crib they are being punished, and that too punishment meaning erasing their ill-dos…
We, the well wishers of Kerala just hope that this leader of ours just keeps up his good work, even while his own party members has disowned his actions. Political studs who were meant to protect the sovereignty of a state is high in helping out, an easy escape route for the culprits. There has been a huge furore when the team was selected as the afraid identified them as a few whom would be tough to influence. And the team have proved their fears true as well, either because they are genuinely like that, or hence they could not do anything else with around all our eyes on them…
